non-hierarchical, free, open, loving, caring, compassionate, healing, energizing,
inclusive, humble, non-judgmental, fun, creative, yours, mine.

Christ never meant for the church to be a closed, hierarchical, authoritarian, nationalistic and denomination-alistic institution. Same for the Faith Communities following The Buddha, Muhammad, Moses, Lao-Tse, and other Great Spiritual Teachers.

+ I love doing these web pages and blogs. I like to call it JOYFUL WANDERING on behalf of THE NEW FAITH FOR THE NEW EARTH which I previously called "The New Church for the New Age."

Here you will find hundreds of links and quotes and ideas promoting spiritual practices, peace and justice, sustainable abundance and compassion. If you want a far more organized website for spiritual practices and those other things I just mentioned, then please go to the best website in the universe, Spirituality and Practice, created and constantly updated by my friends Mary Ann and Frederic Brussat. The movie reviews alone are worth making it one of your favorite places, maybe even your homepage. Uplifting online courses are offered frequently at very reasonable prices. There is almost always one going on, maybe 2 or 3. GO!

+ Another website I highly recommend is Spiritual Paths, which focuses on the new movement of InterSpirituality. Ed Bastian offers a seven-step process for InterSpiritual meditation which has become a powerful way for people of different religions or no religion to find common ground. He also offers a tool for discerning which spiritual styles and spiritual questions come naturally to you and which you might need to work on.

+ For years, I have focused on the TWELVE SPIRITUAL PRACTICES below. Click on any practice for more information. The idea of connecting these practices with the paths of Mind, Heart, Body and Soul came to me recently as I read THE SEEKER'S GUIDE: MAKING YOUR LIFE A SPIRITUAL ADVENTURE by Elizabeth Lesser, a truly amazing book. She uses these four categories which she calls Landscapes. She offers many practices for each of the landscapes.
