NEW 10/3/20

We are all entitled to abundance. Or, to put it another way, all the glories of the heavenly realms are our birthright and our eternal destiny. There is no need to wait for abundance. It is here now, always has been, always will be. There is no adequate explanation for this truth. It simply is the way it is and the way it is is simply wonderful.

The glories of the heavenly realms are miraculous, mysterious and marvelous. We begin participating in this abundance whenever we simply accept the gift gratefully in the here and now. Every breath we take is a new opportunity to receive abundance, to be in heaven.

So, breathe in this abundance right now. Begin again. And again. And again. Smile. Sing. Dance. Laugh. Listen. Rest. Relax. Wonder. Imagine. Love. Cry. Pray. Receive. Give. Appreciate. Share. Care. Stand. Sit. Walk. Swim. Fly. You are in heaven. Nothing is impossible. Everything is within reach.

... are the nine attributes of heaven
which we experience and enjoy
as we embrace our fantastic journey,
the ...

Breathe deeply. Breathe fully.
Be still. Be silent.
Be centered. Be grounded.
Lighten up. Loosen up.
Let go. Let God.
Celebrate. Enjoy.
Be glad all over.
Something wonderful is happening.
This is Bliss.

We are intimately, intricately, infinitely connected
in a matrix of unconditional, unlimited, uniting Love
which is miraculous, mysterious and marvelous.

You do not need to do anything; you do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You do not even need to listen; just wait. You do not even need to wait; just become still, quiet and solitary and the world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
-- Franz Kafka

"It is our duty as men and women to proceed as though the limits of our abilities do not exist." -- Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

"Abundance surrounds and sustains us like the air we breathe; it is only our habitual self-protectiveness that prevents us from perceiving it. Thus, the real problem with any constrictive motion (defending, hoarding, accumulating, clinging) is that it makes us spiritually blind, unable to see the dance of divine generosity that is always flowing toward us." -- Cynthia Bourgeault

"How soon will you realize that the only thing you don't have is the direct experience that there's nothing you need that you don't have?" -- Ken Keyes, Jr., Handbook to Higher Consciousness

"All of life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Too often we believe that if we had 'a little more of this' or 'a little more of that,' our lives would be better. But would they really? Real abundance comes not from without, but from deep within. Recognizing that we are already rich -- rich in spirit -- is where genuine abundance dwells." -- Laura V. Hyde

"Gratitude places you in the energy field of plentitude. Perceiving life in a consciousness of gratitude is literally stepping into another dimension of living. Suddenly the seeming ordinariness of your days takes on a divine sparkle." -- Michael Beckwith

"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." -- John 10:10b

"After this Jesus went to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, also called the Sea of Tiberias. A large crowd kept following him, because they saw the signs that he was doing for the sick. Jesus went up the mountain and sat down there with his disciples. Now the Passover, the festival of the Jews, was near. When he looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, 'Where are we to buy bread for these people to eat?' He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he was going to do. Philip answered him, 'Six months' wages would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a little.' One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, 'There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are they among so many people?' Jesus said, 'Make the people sit down.' Now there was a great deal of grass in the place; so they sat down, about five thousand in all. Then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated; so also the fish, as much as they wanted. When they were satisfied, he told his disciples, 'Gather up the fragments left over, so that nothing may be lost.' So they gathered them up, and from the fragments of the five barley loaves, left by those who had eaten, they filled twelve baskets. When the people saw the sign that he had done, they began to say, 'This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world.' -- John 6:1-14

"They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights." -- Psalm 36:8

"Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." -- Ephesians 3:20-21

"Abundance is learning to trust life. It is reality lived fully, being conscious, present, and whole. Therefore, the quality of your attention is the genuine measure of abundance, and it is your greatest capital asset in any situation." -- Rick Jarow in Alchemy of Abundance

"The real work of manifestation is to weave these strands of your life into a 'Temple of Beauty' that can sustain you beyond ego-based narratives of dominance and survival and beyond romantic fantasies of lack and longing. It is about learning to trust the practice of opening yourself, heart-first, to all of existence and letting your experience of who you are, what you are doing, and where you are going expand into its natural flowering." -- Rick Jarow in Alchemy of Abundance

"The more you learn what to do with yourself, and the more you do for others, the more you will enjoy the abundant life."-- William J. H. Boetcker

"The first and greatest surprise, a miracle, really, is this: that anything exists at all, and that we get to be part of it. Ripe peach, crisp apple, tall mountain, bright leaves, sparkling water, flying flock, flickering flame, and you and me ... here, now!" -- Brian D. McLaren in We Make the Road by Walking

".To perceive oneself as one with everything is to directly experience the flow of divine abundance that holds everything together; to know directly (rather than merely deduce) the extravagant Trinitarian joy with which everything is at all times giving itself away and receiving itself back from the molten flow of love at the center of everything." -- Cynthia Bourgeault

+ There is more than enough. Far more. You can give freely because you can never run out. That's the way God made it. God is Love and this Love is unlimited. God provides. God satisfies. That's the way it is in heaven. Celebrate. Enjoy. Be glad all over.

But earth is often a poor reflection of this heavenly reality. We often don't experience this abundance. Heaven seems far away, even a fantasy, a tease, even a lie.

Practice. Practice. Practice. That's what it takes for us to realize we really do live in a realm where abundance prevails. It's not so much that we make it happen as it is that we allow God to make it happen. Let go. Let God.

First it becomes a reality deep within us and then it becomes a reality for everyone we touch. Sometimes this takes an instant and sometimes it takes a little longer: days, weeks, months, years, even decades and centuries in some cases. Patience.

People who live in extreme material poverty are sometimes the very people who attain the state of abundance. But this can become an excuse for inaction, for acceptance of a status quo which is anything but heaven on earth

I begin with abundance even though Love is the central attribute because it is so important to realize how much we have right now, right here. We have the resources here on earth to bring God's amazing Love to everyone, to end so much suffering that so many people and other creatures are currently confronting. We can and must do something about it. Abundance is the reason why we can do something about it.

We DO have more than enough. So, give, give, give. Share. Share. Share. Invent. Innovate. Build. Transform society. Keep at it until no one, no creature, is denied the abundance God intends for everyone to enjoy.

It can be done. There are ways to make this happen. Let's do what God wants us to do. Abundance is a birthright. Let's make sure no one is denied their birthright. There is plenty of work to be done. It can be done.

Let,s get one thing straight. The abundance every creature deserves and needs is Love. Too many creatures are not getting enough Love. And when you don't get enough Love, you don't give enough Love. So, those of us who know there is enough Love need to lead the way in giving, giving, giving, giving until everyone is loved enough, loved more than enough.

So, do you really know how much you are loved? If you feel deprived, then the practice you are doing has not yet produced the realization that you are loved unconditionally. You and every other creature in the universe.

Abundance is for everyone. Abundant Love. Abundant Beauty. Abundant Truth. Abundant Freedom. Abundant Peace. Abundant Justice. Abundant Joy. Abundant Wisdom.

Too many make the mistake of measuring their abundance by their bank account, their net worth, what they own, what they have. So many of these people never can get enough. And they are ruining it for everybody else. Are you in that category?

Abundance is a gift which can be sustained only when we realize what abundance is and what it isn't. It cannot be sustained if competition is more important than cooperation, if winning becomes paramount.

Sustainable Abundance is the goal. Everything depends on it. It is natural. It is God's will. It is achievable. It can be done.

It can be done because there is more than enough for everyone. It can be done when people realize this, when everyone realizes that abundance and not scarcity is the way it really is.

In other words, abundance is an attitude. I am so grateful that I have more than enough of everything I need and can freely give to those who are temporarily lacking everything they need. I don't need to hold on to so many of the things I thought I needed. I know what abundance is once I know I have enough and give away all that I don't need. I share.

One must develop this attitude in order to experience heaven. Heaven is an attitude, a state of mind and heart and body and soul. We can't explore heaven without developing this attitude of abundance. This attitude is achieved when you realize that you have more than enough of everything you need and desire with all of your mind, heart, body and soul that everyone has enough, far more than enough. Plenty.

An abundance attitude, an abundance state of mind, is an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful for life's many gifts. They keep coming. Help everyone else become grateful for life's many gifts.

Since you are practicing faithfully now, practicing stillness, detachment, humility, practicing silence discernment healing, practicing solitude, devotion, holiness, practicing simplicity, delight, heavenliness, you now know you are in heaven. You are a heavenly being. You have it all. Celebrate. Enjoy. Be glad all over.

There is no way to abundance. Abundance is the way.

God wants us to enjoy the abundance of creation. Most of us don't enjoy it anywhere near fully. Jesus said: I have come to bring you life, and life in its' fullness. We limit ourselves immensely.

Abundance is here now. It is always here now. It can only be appreciated in the here and now moment. The future hasn't come yet. The past is over. In The Handbook to Higher Consciousness, Ken Keyes Jr. gave us 12 wise and practical pathways to Higher Consciousness Pathway #4 is: "I always remember that I have everything I need to enjoy my here and now -- unless I am letting my consciousness be dominated by demands and expectations based on the dead past or the imagined future." His Living Love method which he offers is a thoughtful process for transforming scarcity belief into abundance belief.

We always have it all!

God is Love. The whole creation is filled with Love. There is an abundance of Love and all that Love creates. We are blessed with an abundance of Love and all that Love creates moment after moment after heavenly moment.

God is everywhere. Love is everywhere. There is an abundant supply of Love. We all need Love. We all can give Love. The more we give, the more we receive. There is an endless supply of Love so we can give it away freely. Giving Love freely is the key to opening the door to heaven where abundance is the rule. This is what we need to believe. The more we believe this, the more this becomes real.

Any abundance that is not for every one is a false abundance. We need to develop a shared and sustainable abundance everywhere.

+ offers wisdom and practices for realizing that abundance is what we already have right now, right here in "Building REAL Abundance" by Laura V. Hyde

  • "A Course in Miracles teaches us that whenever we are looking outside ourselves for anything, we will only feel more incomplete. This is referred to as "the scarcity principle" which is based upon the common belief that somehow we are incomplete and not whole just the way we are."

  • "Throughout each day we have numerous opportunities to give, and we grow in abundance as we act on those opportunities. Just a little stretch is all that's required in order for us to experience a sense of true giving."

+ Wahiduddin's Web promotes the teachings of a Sufi Master, Hazrat Inayat Khan, one of the best advocates of the Perennial Philosophy, or Mysticism. This wisdom found throughout the many beliefs on the planet proclaims the reality of abundance.

+ The SAYINGS OF SWAMI OMKARANANDA offer abundant wisdom on the abundance of God's love and beauty and peace and joy. He reminds us that the practice of stillness is the essential path we must take in order to know that we are living in heaven right now, right here.

+ Spirituality & Practice offers a book review of A SIDEWAYS LOOK AT TIME by Jay Griffiths. An excerpt deals with play which is the wonderful activity which happens because of the abundance God provides. Spirituality & Practice offers a a variety of resources on the spiritual practice of play.
